Academics and athletics go hand in hand in the lives of our students. Here’s what Kelsey had to say about Mr. Kevin Kopec.
I am recognizing Mr.Kevin Kopec becsue I think that he has shaped my high school experience to be the best possible. Having Kopec as a teacher and a basketball coach, I got the best of both worlds; in the classroom and on the court. Mr. Kopec always wanted the best for eachstudent or athlete. He helped me reach my full potential in the basketball aspect by showing me that if I worked for something, I could achieve that. My goal my junior year was to make varsity basketball and Kopec took time out of his schedule in the off season, and worked with me once a week. Mr. Kopec also helped every person on team build character. He taught me to make the right decisions, s\and not only to be exceptional basketball players, but also be an exceptional person in today’s society. Having Mr. Kopec as a teacher and coach really has prepared me for the next 4 years in college. Thank you for being such a great role model for me!
Ladies and gentleman, please help us thank tonight”s senior player Kelsey Deppen, and her honored faculty member, Mr.Kevin Kopec.
